Weezie Mott: Still Cookin'

Weezie Mott: Still Cookin'

Now in her 10th decade, Weezie Mott's Cooking School has entranced generations of Bay Area food and fun lovers. After her mother died when she was 5, she was sent away to a Catholic boarding school. She became a Navy Nurse in WWII, married an officer and lived in Italy and Turkey for more than a decade where she found her love of cooking and food preparation. When she settled in "that pretty pretty town of Alameda" CA she got a license and has been teaching ever since. She still travels the world looking for new recipes, going to theater and opera and reviewing restaurants. Weezie Mott is a true wonder continuing to lead and inspiring life.
