Sent away to boarding school when she was five, Weezie Mott made her way through nursing school and into the Navy in California. There she met her husband, Howard who was a Naval attache and they were sent to Turkey and Italy where she found her true love - cooking. When they returned to the United States they settled in Alameda, CA, where she opened Weezie Mott's Cooking School and taught adults and children for decades and decades.
